A Message to Members from ACBA's Executive Director

Dear ACBA Member:

I am sure you are aware that you are an invaluable asset to the Albany County Bar Association. Your time, involvement and assistance has enabled us to grow in both the programs that we present as well as the benefits we offer our membership. Your contributions have enabled us to assist the community in numerous ways from the Lawyer Referral Service to the Annual Law Day Run.

Today, I would like to ask you to consider a small increase in your involvement by becoming a Sustaining Member of the Albany County Bar Association. As you may be aware, many Bar Associations have formed this membership category to assist them in their continuation of providing quality programs and services into the 21st Century. Many of our members support the membership; which enables the Association to enhance their programs.

If you choose to become a Sustaining Member, you will become a part of a distinguished group who are committed to the science of jurisprudence, the promotion of reforms in law, the facilitation of the administration of justice, the elevation of the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in our profession and the cherishing of the spirit of collegiality among its members.

As a Sustaining Member your name will appear periodically on the roster in our monthly newsletter and it will be listed on our Court of Appeals Program.

Your participation is the only way we will be able to ensure that we continue to make a difference and a real impact on the law and the profession. Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity.

Very truly yours,
Barbara Davis
Executive Director
