Please see below for a listing of sizes for an advertisement in the Albany County Bar Association Newsletter. All ads must be prepaid and photo ready and will contain the wording "Paid Advertising" on the top. Advertisements submitted to the ACBA Newsletter are printed on the basis of space availability only and we hold the right to edit all ads. If a classified ad consists of approximately 30-40 words, the charge will be $75.00; however, for our members the fee is $25. (If it is over the 45 words, please add $10; over 55 words please contact our office for the fees) There is an additional $10 charge for ‘blind ads’. If a seminar ad consists of approximately 30-40 words, the charge will be $60.00.
Our newsletter is sent out to approximately 1,300 members on the first of each month. The deadline for placing an advertisement is the third Friday of the previous month. There is no discount offered to repeated monthly advertisers. A complimentary copy will be sent to you. It is the policy of the Albany County Bar Association that no advertisement should indicate any preference, limitation, specification or discrimination based on color, disability, religion, sex, national origin or age.

It is also the policy of this office that we do not provide or sell our mailing list; however, we do offer an in-house mailing service, which must be submitted for approval. Once approval is given, you must supply us with 1,300 copies. Albany County Bar Association stationary will not be available, therefore, your company letterhead and envelopes should be utilized. For non-members of the Bar Association, the fee is $875 for one page, which covers the expense of the labor, the labels and the postage. If there is more than one page, the cost is an additional $350 per page. If the mailing is provided to us stuffed and sealed, the fee is only $725.
For the membership of the Albany County Bar Association, there is a reduced fee of $775 for one page, which covers the expense of the labor, the labels and the postage. Albany County Bar Association stationary will not be available, therefore, your company letterhead and envelopes should be utilized. If there is more than one page, the cost is an additional $300 per page. If the mailing is provided to us stuffed and sealed, the fee is only $675.
